Scottie Ray is a Network and Security Architect with VMware’s Public Sector Network & Security Virtualization team. With nearly 24 years in IT, Scottie has assisted customers through many various transformative technology shifts. A 9-year VMware veteran, Scottie’s focus has been helping VMware’s customers achieve architectural adoption of next generation technologies within their organizations. In addition, he works with customers on the organizational impacts these technologies can have at the intersection of IT Ops, Development & InfoSec disciplines. For the last several years, he has been completely focused on the changing threat models and how to adopt new cyber postures to meet that threat both in the DoD and National Security community as well as state & local government entities.
