Catherine is highly skilled in developing hardware and writing embedded software. She can prototype a project from scratch, including selecting sensors and circuit boards, 3-D modelling, printing custom enclosures and coding the software. Her expertise in 3-D modelling and printing make her a well-rounded and highly capable device prototype developer.

Having served as an In-Flight Refuelling Specialist – or “Boom Operator” – for 10 years in the United States Air Force, Catherine is a seasoned combat veteran. Prior to departing active duty service, she spent a year as the Travis Air Force Base Phoenix Spark Innovation Lab Director where she developed innovative devices for the military, which resulted in large manpower and cost savings. Her work has been personally recognized by top Air Force leadership, which includes the Secretary of the Air Force, Heather Wilson.

Catherine also served as an advisor for Stanford University’s class, “2018 Hacking for Defense” and ranked third place in the DerbyCon Car Hacking competition. She is currently developing custom devices for X-Force Red’s penetration testing and Adversary Simulation services.

Catherine has been hacking since she was 4 years old.
