The Deloitte-NASCIO Cybersecurity Study provides insights from 50 states around state cybersecurity, including workforce. From the study we know that half of state cybersecurity teams have 6-15 FTEs and that 37% of CISOs report that their cyber teams have a gap in competencies. This session will present the current cyber workforce landscape in state government and how states are facing the cyber talent gap. The session will also explore strategies on how the private sector and higher education can team up with states to close the gap.
