Daniel Basile has worked in various cybersecurity roles both in the public and private sector over the past 19 years. Before starting the Texas A&M University System's Security Operations Center (SOC), he was the CIO and ISO for the Texas A&M Health Science Center. Recently, he has won awards from groups such as SANS for "Making a Difference in Cybersecurity" and SCMedia as a "ThreatSeaker" due to the work he is directing at the Texas A&M University System.
