Embarking on a machine learning initiative requires not only a focus on the rapidly evolving technologies and the establishment of new operational practices, it also demands close stakeholder coordination, collaboration and education. This sessions (1) explores TRS' objectives to augment its investment decision-making process by training machines to analyze volumes of text from CEO speeches (earning transcripts) to predict company performance, (2) lays out the organizational considerations when starting such a project, and (3) discusses the components that make up a vision for scalable MLOps.
