Kyle Thomas is the Appian Industry Leader for public sector financial regulatory agencies. He provides thought leadership around reg-tech innovation globally and drives customer and partner success by drawing on his years of experience in the financial regulatory sector. Kyle brings not only experience as a prudential regulator, but also led the development of a suite of solutions for the Conference of State Bank Supervisors, a nationwide trade group of state financial regulators. While there he developed and deployed a first-in-class solution that transformed state-based financial regulation. The platform is now in use by over 40 state agencies and thousands of financial services firms. Kyle is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, holds a master’s degree from the Darla Moore School of Business of the University of South Carolina and is an alumnus of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado.
