Domenica is a native Houstonian, and proud graduate of Rice University. She has a wide range of experience in healthcare ranging from clinical, research, and business operations. Working alongside MD Anderson clinicians, researchers, patients, and operation leaders she utilizes observation techniques, stakeholder interviews and market research to understand how to develop the next generation of digital technology and design groundbreaking experiences. She is responsible for managing the implementation of multiple strategic initiatives centered around virtual care and access. ​

Today, Domenica is a valued member of the innovation team, directly influencing the lives of our entire department and those we serve through her situational adaptability, extensive experience in research and hospital administration, and overall ability to think on her feet. Her passion for learning has sent Domenica back to school at UT School of Public Health to pursue a PhD in Healthcare Management and Health Policy and she hopes to use her new degree to continue improving upon greatness at MDACC.​
