Krishna Kumar Edathil is the Director of Enterprise Solution Services, including cloud and AI, for the State of Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). Krishna leads prioritized and cybersecurity legacy system study, a key DIR deliverable to the Legislative Budget Board that helps with project funding. The 87th legislative session funded over $1B to Texas state agencies. DIR plays a leadership role in affecting Texas IT policy, operating its two data centers and public cloud program besides facilitating multiple contract vehicle for state agencies to procure IT resources. Krishna has more than two decades in technology start-up and leadership roles. He served a senior technology executive for Accenture’s Intelligent Software Engineering Services group, before assuming his current duties for the State of Texas. Krishna has an executive certificate from MIT Sloan School of Management in Leadership and Management including Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Internet of Things.
