John Schaefer is a Principal Architect and part of a technology shared services organization under AT&T Public Sector. John is responsible for solution development and technical consulting with an emphasis in Network Modernization, Cloud Transformation, Advanced Mobility Applications, Security, and Network Integration services. John partners with the State of Texas account teams and supports customers with their technology initiatives, recommending principles and best practices, and executing strategic roadmaps that align with market trends and industry insights.
John has 20 years of experience with AT&T and has held several technical roles with the company. Prior to joining AT&T, John held a variety of software engineering positions in the defense industry. He received a Master of Business Administration from The University of Dallas and Bachelor of Science Engineering degree from Saint Louis University.
