Public sector entities have a duty to protect the personal information individuals share when doing business with their governments. AI tools, while offering significant potential improvements to how we serve Texans, also create new privacy challenges. This session will discuss practices to manage these challenges by asking the right questions to vendors about their privacy practices, training employees to protect PII when using AI, and minimizing the collection and retention of PII.
