Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has existed for many decades but in recent years there has been a widespread increase in its use due to advances in technology and the increasing availability of vast amounts of data. Regardless of the AI technology used, data is the foundation of AI algorithms and models, and the governance and management of data is a critical component to the success of AI initiatives. In this session, we will discuss some key principles of data management and how data literacy initiatives can advance data governance programs and prepare organizations to take full advantage of AI technologies.
