Taylor Christian's work is focused on providing guidance and support to programs across the Office of Water Science & Conservation to implement FAIR (findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable) water data principles. Her team is responsible for the administration of the Texas Water Data Hub, an intuitive website designed to index, document, search, and access water data in Texas. She joined the Texas Water Development Board in 2014 and in previous roles administered the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund and developed population and water demand projections for the state water plan. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in geography from Texas State University and is a proud sixth-generation Texan.
