Rob Cohan leads Accenture’s Americas Strategy & Consulting groups for the public sector and serves as a global leader for Public Service AI Strategy. With over three decades of experience partnering with government and institutions of higher education, he helps organizations navigate structural change, adopt new ways of working, and harness emerging technologies to drive cost and productivity improvement.

He specializes in helping senior public service and government executives transform cost structures, enhance productivity, and streamline operations to improve service delivery and performance outcomes. His work focuses on leveraging advanced AI, data-driven insights, and leading benchmarks to uncover opportunities for lasting impact. Rob directs cross-functional teams to deliver on public finance modernization, hyper-automation, workforce transformation, and operational excellence. Recent engagements include guiding executive leadership through large-scale diagnostics of cost, operations, and service delivery, followed by the implementation of enterprise-wide strategies across performance management, digital transformation, AI adoption, policy simplification, federal funds optimization, economic development, program & operating model redesign, strategic planning, and shared services.

Rob is a frequent presenter and panelist at public sector conferences, discussing topics from technology to management and best practices.
