Dawn Watkins is the Digital Accessibility Officer for three research agencies within the Texas A&M System (TEES, TEEX, and TTI). She has evolved her skills in digital accessibility compliance over 20 years. During that time, Dawn progressed from a web administrator to a digital accessibility consultant, advisor, tester, and trainer to become a program coordinator. She successfully began a certified Project Manager in 2023 while managing the digital accessibility governance of a large government agency. Currently, Dawn supports facility, staff, researchers, and contractors focused on evolving digital accessibility program maturity. Dawn works with key stakeholders from across the System to incorporates changes from the ADA Title II to modify procedures and policies to help reach accessibility compliance.
