Lynn was born and raised in Pflugerville, TX. Lynn is the proud mom of two sons, Braeden, and Zackary. She lives with her husband Josh and stepdaughter, Taylor, in Elgin, TX. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Agricultural Economics in 1997. After graduating from Texas A&M University she went to work for the Texas Department of Agriculture. Lynn jokingly says she went into the family business. Her mother retired from the state and her father retired from UT Austin. She has had the pleasure of working for several state agencies and universities. Lynn now has almost 30 years of state service. Lynn Hodde Blue joined DIR in August 2013 and serves as the Deputy Chief Procurement Officer. She is responsible for overseeing and directing procurement and contracting functions for DIR’s Enterprise and Cooperative Contracts. Prior to Lynn joining DIR she worked for the General Services Commission, Texas Building and Procurement Commission, Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts, The University of Texas at Austin, The University of Texas System, and Texas A&M University.
