Tara serves as the Director of DIR-A Internal Procurement. She has been with DIR for 6 and a half years, advancing from a contract manager and procurement lead to director. With over 20 years of state procurement and contract management experience she brings deep institutional knowledge, strategic leadership, and a commitment to public service. As an Austin native, Tara is deeply rooted in the community she serves. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and her first grandchild. This balance of professional dedication and family life shapes her perspective, reinforcing her commitment to service, and the values that drive her work.
