Mr. Greiner is a Senior Managing Director who serves as the firm’s Global Technology Lead for its Health and Public Service (H&PS) business. In this role, he oversees the solution development and delivery of Accenture’s technology-related programs across the system integration, technology consulting, application management and IT infrastructure space for H&PS clients. Additionally, he has been the Quality Assurance director for a number of highly visible public sector programs including: DHS/OBIM HART, CMS Healthcare.gov, IRS Portals, Canadian Immigration, Federal Student Aid modernization, and many others.
Since joining Accenture in 1988, Mr. Greiner has extensive experience in directing large-scale, public sector transformation programs. Mr. Greiner served as the lead for the Accenture-led Smart Border Alliance (SBA) and its 700-person delivery team for the DHS/US-VISIT program, where he oversaw dozens of new immigration and biometrics-related development projects used to help confirm identities and admissibility of foreigners looking to enter the US through each of the country’s air, sea, and land-based ports of entry. He was also the client partner for Accenture’s work at the Department of Commerce, with oversight responsibility for all support Accenture provided to the Department. And he subsequently led Accenture’s U.S. Custom & Emerging Solutions practice – an 8,000-person cross-industry group focused on custom and SaaS-based solutions.
Mr. Greiner has been an active member and speaker at organizations such as the Homeland Security & Defense Business Counsel, Association of Government Accountants, AFCEA, and NIST/NSA’s Biometrics Consortium Conference. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University.
