Texas DIR has secured Fiserv’s First Data Merchant Services (referred to as Fiserv) as their new Payment Services Service Component Provider. Fiserv will provide the products and services for a modern payment processing solution for Texas.gov through service capabilities, including but not limited to, digital transactions, payment gateway services, payment processing, POS devices, settlement processing, and reporting.

Fiserv’s Texas.gov Payment Services Solution offers complete transaction management that specifically meets the unique needs of Texas government. Constituents can pay for government services via credit card, debit card, and eCheck (Automated Clearing House (ACH)) transactions online, at the Point-Of-Sale (POS) over the counter, through a mobile device, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR). Fiserv’s Solution also provides extensive financial reporting and integrates State government pay.
