Ransomware is no longer just a problem for businesses and industries; many school districts are now the target of ransomware attacks. Many school districts assume they are not at risk and end up having to respond to a ransomware attack without proper preparation and plans in place. This presentation will include firsthand information and lessons learned during Lufkin ISD's ransomware incident this year to help attendees better prepare and secure their staff, hardware, data, and network.
