Drew Scheifele PhD, is Co-Founder & CEO of SaltyCloud PBC, a risk and compliance company supporting public-sector and Higher Ed institutions. His work focuses on helping organizations mature and scale their internal and vendor risk assessment programs.
SaltyCloud is currently working with UT and the UT-RSOC to leverage the IsoraGRC platform as a statewide vendor repository and shared assessment capability. IsoraGRC enables organizations to perform vendor and organizational assessments, classify inventories, and manage risk in a consistent, repeatable manner—supporting collaboration across agencies while reducing duplicated effort.
Drew is a CMMC Registered Practitioner and serves on EDUCAUSE’s HECVAT Advisory Committee, working on standardized approaches to higher education and public-sector vendor risk assessments. He holds a PhD in Neuroscience and an MS in Cognition from UT Dallas, an MS in Psychology from East Texas A&M University, and a BA in Theology. He resides in Austin, TX.
