Morgan’s mission is to boldly take cybersecurity awareness and role-based training programs where no state agency has gone before. She currently serves as the Information Security Training and Awareness Coordinator for Texas Health and Human Services (HHS). During her 3 ½ years in this role, she solely created the agency’s IS role-based training program while also leading and developing the cybersecurity awareness program. Prior to joining the HHS team, she worked as the Statewide Cybersecurity Training and Awareness Coordinator at DIR. Morgan is a SANS Security Awareness Professional (SSAP) and was nominated for the 2021 CyberScoop 50 Community Builder of the Year award.
