Ioana is a Senior Managing Director in Accenture’s global security practice with more than 24 years of experience in security assessment and strategy design, organization
design, leadership development, program management, training and awareness, managed security operations, and compliance. She leads Accenture’s North America Cyber Resilient Talent and Organization practice, which focuses on developing the human firewall through awareness and training, security upskilling, and security leadership coaching and development.

Ioana is known in the security industry for her collaborative, pragmatic, and scalable approaches to large strategic problems and acts as a trusted advisor and leadership coach to her clients and colleagues. She is a published author on the topics of integrating security into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and
developing an effective security organization and function on a realistic budget. She is also a highly sought-after career and leadership coach within Accenture Security, having mentored dozens of resources toward career progression and promotion.

Ioana has two BS degrees (Mathematics and Marine Biology) from UCLA and is currently working on her Leadership Coaching certification through Georgetown University’s Institute for Transformational Leadership.

In her spare time, Ioana is an avid scuba diver, DIYer, animal advocate, and brass musician.
