Brian Viney serves as the Senior Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT) Analyst/Threat Researcher for DIR. Brian joined the DIR team in September 2022. Brian graduated from Texas A&M – Central Texas in 2022 with a Master of Science in Information Systems. Brian has over 5 years of state service, previously serving as a Cybersecurity Analyst at the Texas Department of Insurance. Before his state service, Brian served as a Signal soldier in the US Army for 11 years. Brian currently holds the CEH certification.
