Apollo Hernandez is a security professional with almost two decades of experience in both the physical and cybersecurity worlds. After a few combat deployments to Iraq as a young enlisted infantry rifleman, Apollo was fortunate enough to earn his way into a Special Operations Capable unit serving as a Team Leader in the elite and storied Marine Recon community. He also served as a civilian defense contractor in Afghanistan, before working in executive protection where he helped protect some of the world's most influential people and enterprises. Wanting to continue to keep people safe, he put down his rifle, and picked up a keyboard.
Apollo has an undergraduate degree from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Master of Science in Technology Commercialization from the McCombs School of Business at UT. He has nearly completed a Master of Jurisprudence in Cybersecurity Law & Policy from the Texas A&M School of Law.
