Cam Beasley has served as the University Chief Information Security Officer for the University of Texas at Austin since August 2005 and has been with the Information Security Office since it's inception in 1999. Cam's interests in InfoSec include the application and management of large-scale security controls at one of the largest campuses in the United States, command and control botnets, forensics, lasers, ninjas, and robots. Cam earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.

Cam Beasley is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the University of Texas at Austin. With extensive experience in managing cybersecurity for one of the largest and most complex university systems in the nation, Cam is a recognized leader in developing and implementing effective security strategies in higher education.
