Elizabeth Chavez is a GRC analyst with Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Office of the Chief Information Security Officer Policy and Governance team. Elizabeth helps with the administration of the Texas Risk Authorization and Management Program (TX-RAMP) and also helps steer key GRC initiatives. Elizabeth has over a decade of experience working with State and Local Governments and Higher Eds across various domains, including procurement, project delivery, and security. Prior to joining OCISO, Elizabeth worked for the DIR Chief Technology Office as a project manager with the Statewide Project Delivery Framework team. Elizabeth holds a bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth College and a master’s degree from the UT LBJ School of Public Affairs.
