Adam Mikeal is the Chief Information Security Officer and an adjunct professor in the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. After earning his undergraduate degree in history and music, his interests shifted toward Computer Science, leading to a Masters in that field with an emphasis in human-computer interaction, interface design, and digital libraries. The office of the CISO is responsible for protecting and securing the university's digital assets and information resources, encompassing cyber defense; security operations and forensics; identity and access management; data management; and risk, governance, and compliance.
