Danny Miller serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (SCISO) for the Texas A&M University System, which encompasses 11 universities, 8 State of Texas agencies, and 3 administrative organizations. He leads all cybersecurity strategy, regulation, policy and standards for all members and is the founder and Chairman of the Cyber Shared Services Security Operations Center (SOC) for the A&M System membership and which serves a number of State of Texas entities. Danny also founded A&M's Information Sharing and Analysis Organization (ISAO) which is connected to the State of Texas and serves as a clearinghouse of cybersecurity information for the entire State of Texas, along with a cyber-intelligence group that feeds A&M's ISAO.

Danny is a member of the Texas CISO Council, the Texas Cybersecurity Council, a member of the Texas Statewide Information Security Advisor Committee (SISAC), founder of the InfraGard Special Interest Group for Brazos County, Texas and a member of the Greater Houston Cybersecurity Council (Cyber Houston). He serves as a private consultant and advisor to a number of private sector firms and is on various boards.

Danny is certified in a number of various technical and cybersecurity specialties. In 2022, he completed his M.S. in Cybersecurity from Grand Canyon University and Georgia Institute of Technology.
