Description
US Army, Lieutenant General (retired) Ross Coffman, President of Forward Edge AI, will discuss the accelerating risks associated with Q-Day, which is the moment in time when powerful quantum computers will be able to defeat existing public-key encryption (i.e. RSA). Drawing from government-funded R&D, coalition exercises, and commercial pilot programs, this session offers actionable implementation strategies for public and private organizations to prepare for this threat with cryptographic resilience. The discussion will also include an overview of how post-quantum cryptography (PQC) technologies work, how other methods of defense can fail, and how to protect networks at scale.
