After beginning his career as an application developer, Anthony moved into the information security discipline in 1988 at JP Morgan in New York, serving as an Information Security Analyst. In 1997, he assumed the role of Information Security Officer, first for the Lewco Securities Corporation (a securities processing firm in New Jersey) and, subsequently, for RCN Telecommunications, Princeton University and, since 2015, the University of Houston-Clear Lake.
