Eric started his professional career building the network infrastructure for a middle school in Bryan Texas. He moved from there to the University of Houston-Victoria where he progressed from a hands-on PC/network analyst into the leader of both the server and network infrastructure teams. After 20 years he took the next step by moving away from the operational side of IT to focus on Information Security. He now serves alongside his colleagues as campus Information Security Officer, responsible for UH-Victoria.
