20TH ANNUAL INFORMATION SECURITY FORUM

The 20th Annual Information Security Forum will be held on March 10-11, 2020 at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas and is hosted by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Office of the Chief Information Security Officer (OCISO).  

​The Information Security Forum is an educational conference bringing together security and IT professionals from public sector organizations across the state of Texas.
 
This premier conference focuses on security trends and upcoming technologies. Don't miss this great opportunity to network and with other government employees and cybersecurity exhibitors.

This year's agenda features:
 
  • Five tracks of quality break-out sessions 
  • Several quality keynote speakers
  • An Escape Room activity, and
  • Vendor product demonstrations.

ESCAPE ROOM

COST

This free event is open to government employees (state and local) and employees of K-12 & higher education institutions. Pre-registration is required.  

Because space is limited, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees from a specific organization so that the maximum number of organizations can participate. This will be determined by the number of registrations we receive.

VENDOR PRODUCT DEMOS

Vendors will be offering short product demonstrations in the Expo on Tuesday and Wednesday.  Get valuable information on a variety of useful cybersecurity products and services.
 
Attendance will be first come first seated during the conference (advance registration is not available).  A list of available product demos will be provided to all attendees closer to the conference.

LUNCH SELECTIONS

Lunch will be provided Tuesday and Wednesday.  We have selected two food trucks to cater ISF that will also be providing vegetarian options. The food trucks are Bohemian BBQ and Peached Tortilla.
 
On your registration, you are asked to select which menu you want to confirm each day.  This will guarantee that you get your preference, so if you have any dietary restrictions please ensure you review the available options (vegetarian, gluten free, etc.).
