Welcome to DIR Discover!
DIR Discover: Exploring Data and Tech is an annual event hosted by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR). The fourth annual DIR Discover will be held on October 1, 2025, at the Palmer Events Center in Austin, Texas.
This year’s event will bring together IT professionals from state agencies, local governments, and public education to explore the latest in data and emerging technology. DIR Discover is also a chance to build connections and see firsthand the innovative solutions offered by private sector exhibitors with DIR contracts.
DIR Discover is designed for public sector employees with roles in IT and data, but this event will also be relevant to executive leadership.
