DIR is pleased to announce DIR Discover 2026: Exploring Data and Tech will be held October 6 and will return to the Palmer Events Center in Austin, TX.
This conference will bring together IT professionals from state agencies, local government, and public education by exploring the latest in data and emerging technology. DIR Discover provides attendees an excellent opportunity for building connections and to see firsthand the innovative solutions offered by private sector exhibitors with DIR contracts. DIR Discover is designed for public sector employees with roles in IT and data, but this event will also be relevant to executive leadership.

Cost
This event is free for government employees (state and local) and employees of K-12 schools and institutions of higher education. However, advance registration is required.
Because space is limited, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees from a single organization to ensure that the maximum number of organizations can participate and attend the event. This will be determined by the number of registrations DIR receives.
