This event is organized by the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) and sponsored by TASSCC.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Proposals may be submitted from public sector organizations (state agencies, universities, and local governments), industry partners, or any others willing to share expertise.
All proposals will be reviewed by the conference committee. If you have any questions, please contact mark.leavenworth@dir.texas.gov.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The EXTENDED deadline for proposals is JULY 17, 2026.
Speakers agree to provide an advance copy of their presentation to DIR by September 10th.
ALL TOPICS MUST BE GENERICALLY EDUCATIONAL: NO MARKETING. NO PRODUCT OR COMPANY PROMOTION.
PROPOSAL DETAILS
We encourage presentation submissions from public sector organizations or co-presentations that include both a vendor partner and customer. We also recommend a use case or storytelling format.
While this format is not required, feedback from past events has shown that attendees respond well to these types of presentations. In a co-presentation, the vendor partner can explain how they helped address a specific need or challenge, while the customer can share their perspective on the value, impact, and success of the engagement.
DIR is committed to hosting an accessible educational event for all participants. Final presentations and all supporting materials are required to meet digital accessibility standards, and presenters are expected to work with event organizers to make every effort to fulfill reasonable accommodation requests. For questions and requests, please email mark.leavenworth@dir.texas.gov.
