This includes advocacy for IT infrastructure security, products and services security, supply chain security, and physical security efforts which support and strengthen data privacy and security and ultimately assure Lenovo’s success as a trusted leader and enabler of intelligent transformation. An organizational resilience thought leader, Skip has a remarkable track record of strengthening public and private sector organizations through transformational and collaborative leadership, driving risk-focused convergence of security and continuity programs, and building, mentoring, and energizing world-class teams. Skip has served at the executive level for 15 of his 31 years in the security profession and has led risk management, cyber and physical security, business continuity, and critical infrastructure protection efforts at regional, national, and global levels. His prior experience includes executive leadership roles within the US Department of Homeland Security’s Transportation Security Administration, Catalysis Learning Alliance, and several US Department of Defense agencies, including United States European Command, the Central United States Registry, US Army Headquarters, and United States Africa Command.
