Updated COVID-19 Information
Attendee Guidance
To sustain a healthy and safe environment, DIR will follow an approach based on CDC COVID-19 Community Levels (Low, Medium, High) for in-person meetings. As of February 7, 2023 - the opening date of registration for this event - the current transmission level in Austin (Travis County) is low. The Texas Department of State Health Services and the Palmer Events Center support the convening of public events.
As part of our commitment to creating the safest possible environment for our in-person events, we strongly recommend that all attendees review the following information on protecting themselves at in-person gatherings regardless of the CDC COVID-19 Community Level:
- CDC's guidelines for How to Protect Yourself from COVID-19
- CDC’s published information on Understanding the Risk of COVID-19
Should the designation for Travis County change, DIR will update attendee guidance as required or made necessary by that change. DIR will continue to closely monitor the COVID-19 situation for potential impacts on event attendees. Please know that the health and safety of attendees and exhibitors in our top priority.
Please follow all recommended CDC guidelines if you notice COVID-19 symptoms or think you may have come into contact with someone who has COVID-19. If you notice any of the symptoms of COVID-19, please get tested and follow the CDC guidelines.
