Lance Leatherwood is the Chief Information Security Officer at the Texas Workforce Commission (TWC). Prior to joining TWC in 2015, Lance supported the U.S. Army for 18 years working on several projects that led to being stationed in many locations around the U.S. and the world. Since joining TWC, he has held several positions within the cybersecurity team culminating with being named CISO in April of 2023. Lance is an Alumni of UT-El Paso, has 1 daughter and 2 grandsons.
