27TH ANNUAL INFORMATION SECURITY FORUM

The Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), in partnership with the Texas Cyber Command (TXCC), is proud to announce the 27th Annual Information Security Forum (ISF) on May 20-21, 2026, at the Palmer Events Center in downtown Austin, Texas. As the premier cybersecurity event for Texas state and local government, public institutes of higher education, and Texas K-12, ​ISF 2026 brings together security leaders and IT professionals from across the state for two days of learning, collaboration, and innovation.

ISF will feature engaging presentations, panel discussions, and networking opportunities designed to foster collaboration between public-and private-sector security experts. The event is only open to cybersecurity and IT professionals from Texas government, K-12, and public institutes of higher learning.

VENDOR PRODUCT DEMOS

Vendors will be offering short product demonstrations in the Expo on Wednesday & Thursday.  Get valuable information on a variety of useful cybersecurity products and services.
 
Attendance will be first come first seated during the conference (advance registration is not available).

COST

This free event is open to government employees (state and local) and employees of K-12 & higher education institutions.
Pre-registration is required.  

Because space is limited, it may be necessary to limit the number of attendees from a specific organization so that the maximum number of organizations can participate. This will be determined by the number of registrations we receive.

LUNCH

Lunch will be provided Wednesday and Thursday.  We have selected two food trucks to cater ISF that will also be providing vegetarian options. The food trucks are Peached Tortilla and Shawarma Point. Several options will be available from which to choose when you attend lunch.
 
On your registration, it is important that you list any dietary restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, nut allergy, etc.). Dietary cards will be provided at registration for those who listed dietary restrictions.

CANCELLATION

To cancel your registration, please email registration@xcelevents.us.  

We anticipate maximum attendance resulting in a sold out event. Early cancellations will allow us to make space available to additional attendees.

Cancellations without substitution received AFTER Friday, May 8 will result in a $25 cancellation fee billed to the attendee's organization.

SUBSTITUTION

If you are not able to attend, you may substitute another person to attend in your place.
