The cryptographic landscape is shifting at an unprecedented pace. By 2030, NIST projects that quantum-vulnerable algorithms such as RSA and ECDSA will be deprecated, with full disallowance expected by 2035. Simultaneously, certificate validation reuse periods continue to shrink, and stringent new compliance mandates—like DORA and PCI DSS 4.0—are placing immense pressure on organizational infrastructure. This session provides a strategic roadmap for navigating this transition. We will move beyond the theory of Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) to focus on the practical necessity of "Crypto-Agility." Attendees will explore how to automate shortened certificate lifecycles, replace legacy algorithms with quantum-resistant alternatives, and manage hybrid certificate environments.
