TECHNICAL INFORMATION 

PC REQUIREMENTS:

Standard PC or MAC computer, or Tablet (iOS or Android) with good connection to the internet AND Computer audio with speakers Required.  The GLAM Virtual Conference is accessible via a web browser (no application download necessary). Chrome is the recommended web browser.

Smart phones are capable but not recommended because the viewing screen would be too small to view the detailed slides & presentations.

LIMITED LOGINS PER STORE:

The number of logins per store is LIMITED - please refer to the Store Allocation chart for specifics. Associates may login to watch the virtual conference together in a conference room if desired. 

While still following 6' social distancing and all CDC guidelines, store personnel may gather in the store's conference room to view the conference on a PC connected to a large monitor or TV so everyone can participate but share a login. 

VENDOR PROVIDED VIDEOS & HANDOUTS:
 
Vendors may provide video clips and PDF files of handout materials in addition to their video presentation on the virtual platform. These will be posted on the same screen/page as the vendors' presentation if applicable.  The presentation videos and handouts will remain available after the conference. 
Recordings of all the live sessions will be posted to the virtual conference after the event for Exchange associates to view on demand.

CONFERENCE LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Login to the GLAM Virtual Conference: (Actual Login link will be sent to all registrants via email closer to the date of the conference).
  • Use your specific email (that you registered with) as your user name plus your specific PASSCODE included with the email instructions.
  • Click on the link to enter the GLAM Virtual Conference

IMPORTANT PROCEDURES during the Conference:

  • All of the Live Q&A Sessions will be scheduled for specific times (TBA). Be sure to join at the exact times in order to participate.
  • It is recommended that your computer/device is connected to a High Speed/Strong Bandwidth internet connection (hard wired is more reliable if available)
  • Have Computer speakers turned on – you will hear the presentations through the computer speakers. Headphones are optional.
