TECHNICAL INFORMATION 

PC REQUIREMENTS:

Standard PC or MAC computer, or Tablet (iOS or Android) with good connection to the internet AND Computer audio with speakers Required.  Downloading the Adobe Connect APP in advance is encouraged (see instructions below).

Smart phones are capable but not recommended because the viewing screen would be too small to view the detailed slides & presentations.

LIMITED LOGINS PER STORE:

The number of logins per store is LIMITED, so it is best if people login to watch the webinar together and not individually. 

While still following 6' social distancing and all CDC guidelines, we request store personnel gather in the store's conference room to view the webinar on a PC connected to a large monitor or TV so everyone can participate and see but share a login.  There will not be enough logins if everyone logs in on their own separate device.

RESERVE YOUR STORE CONFERENCE ROOM for this Webinar for the dates & times assigned to your Store.

Any Vendor videos will be provided to the stores IN ADVANCE to download the week PRIOR to the Webinar.  These videos will be posted on the Services' HUB or Portal from which they can be downloaded. We will need the Conference room's PC IP address in order to pre-download vendor videos in advance.

ADOBE CONNECT APP:

Everyone may particpate in the webinar via the internet or the Adobe Connect app on a PC/MAC, or tablet or mobile device (phones are not recommended as the image will be too small).

IMPORTANT:  SPACE IS LIMITED for participation, so as long as social distancing can be maintained, stores are encouraged to participate in the webinar together in a conference room viewing it on a PC on a large Monitor.

VENDOR PROVIDED VIDEOS & HANDOUTS:
 
Vendors may provide video clips and PDF files of handout materials in advance. These will be posted to the appropriate Service's portal sites for each Exchange to download PRIOR to the webinar.  The videos and handouts will remain available after the webinar. 
Recordings of all the live sessions will be posted to the appropriate Service's portal sites after the webinar for Exchange associates to view on demand.

DAY OF THE WEBINAR LOGIN INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Login to the ME3 Webinar Adobe Classroom: (Actual Login is TBA and will be sent to all registrants closer to the date of the webinar).
  • NO PASSCODE IS NEEDED
  • Click on the link to enter the ME3 Classroom
  • Leave the "ENTER AS GUEST" button checked
  • Enter your SERVICE Branch - Store Name and location, Examples:

   AAFES - EXCHANGE Name - Location/Region

   NEX - EXCHANGE Name - Location/District

   MCX - EXCHANGE Name - Location/District

   CGX - EXCHANGE Name - Location/DIstrict

  • Entering your Service AND Store Name EXACTLY as shown above is VERY important!

IMPORTANT PROCEDURES during the Webinar:

  • All of the Live Sessions are scheduled back to back throughout each day in the same classroom with only 5 minutes between each session
  • If a session runs early, there will be a five minute break and the next session will begin
  • It is imperative that everyone be ready and on time
  • Sessions may start early if presentations run shorter than 30 minutes (20 minute presentation, 10 minutes Q&A)
  • Sessions will not be permitted to run longer than scheduled
  • It is important that your computer is connected to a HARD WIRE internet connection
  • WIFI is not reliable, unless absolutely necessary
  • Have Computer speakers turned on – you will hear the presentations through the computer speakers
  • Be logged into the link above and ready to be admitted to the classroom 10 minutes before the start of the first session
  • Mute your microphone if your PC has one
